Hello...

just a quick reminder that the DM Euromeet will start tomorrow. If you are in the London area over the next few days and fancy meeting up with us, send me a PM as soon as possible so we can exchange contact details. About ten of us will be around for the entire time. Another seven or eight are meeting up with us at varying times. So there will be plenty of people to make it worth the trip.

The he thing that made me really enjoy Peter Jackson’s LOTR was that despite the departures from the books the story was told in the same tone as the novels and so it still felt like LOTR Same went for Game of Thrones, the books had a darker tone and thus so did the show so it felt like the same world and the same story. WOT by contrast just does not have the same tone as the books. It feels like they are trying to tell the story of WOT in the tone of GOT and it just feels off
