Rare signed, numbered and lettered book 10 - and 52 of 52 copies.

Hi all,

I’m new here but definitely not new to the book series. I’m here looking for more information on a very rare book in my WoT collection.
It’s a leather bound, gold letters, sleeved HC of book 10 of the Wheel of Time, Crossroads of Twilight by Robert Jordan. 1st edition (January 2003 published in New York by TOR Fantasy). What makes this a rare find is that there are only 202 printed copies. All signed by Robert Jordan. But there is more. The 202 signed copies are divided in 150 copies that are a rare find in their own right. And then there are also the first 52 signed & LETTERED copies reserved for the author and publisher. I have in my possession nr 52, which is recognizable with the additional signature RR52.

I have not been able to find any of the 52 online… of the 150 I’ve seen prices ranging between €800 - 1500 via eBay, Amazon and rare online bookstores.

Can anyone give me more information?

Gr,

Michael

I have RR29. Got it from a charity D&D game he was involved in at a book convention. The tickets were very expensive, and there were only 4 spots. RJ played, there was a “professional” DM.  He gave the four of us copies.

It was 3 hours and one of the coolest days of my life. That was the first half of 2003 I believe.

Hi, thanks for sharing! And you actually got it from him personally! Did you take a pic?
