When I was a kid and went trick-or-trearing, some of my favorite treats to find were Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Mounds, and Three Muskeeters bar.

 

What are some of your favorite treats?

Halloween wasn't really a thing here in Norway when I was a kid, but we started celebrating it when I was in uni, around the turn of the millennium.

 

So the first Halloween celebrations I was at we had lots of beer... Does beer count as a snack? >_>

We also don't do Halloween here, and taking food from strangers would be the ultimate survival challenge ... LoL

 

But my favourite snacks are definitely savoury things. I like sweet things, but not as sweet as you Americans. Good lord your chocolates (that you call candy, I believe) are mindblowingly sweet!

Anyhoo, favourite snacks ... probably droewors (dried sausage) or biltong (our version of jerky, which is much less dry than yours).

Small samoosas or other home made mini-pies.

like from halloween as a kid it was always tootsie pops and m&m's. though i still like them, and m&m's are one of my hardcore fundamentally loved candies. when we pass out candy now i always scuttle away some Twix bars, m&m's and snickers. 

 

BUT if we're opening it up to other snacks as elgee had, dude GIVE ME CHEESE

As a kid, I liked jaw breakers and anything chocolate. 
 

I barely remember Halloween as a kid. I know when my kids were little, we handed out Tootsie candies, which I love, but apparently, aren't a big hit with my kids. Now, it's chocolate all the way. 

have a specific kind you like most? chocolate's a broad selection

Peanut Butter M&Ms are my current favorite.

Last night we went trunk-or-treating with my grandkids, and I ate all the Milky Ways, because nobody likes them but me. They're one of my favorites, too, along with 100,000 bars.

Dark chocolate with chilli ... oh man ...

Snickers bars. Even the mini ones. 

Oh, I know people don’t hand these out but I buy them at Halloween. Caramel apples with nuts. When I was a kid I loved the candied red ones. 

These treats are definitely making me hungry.

I'll take another treat, please. I'm no good with riddles.

best way to have a carmel apple is pre-sliced and dip it in the carmel

Funny thing about apples. I love the taste of cooked apples in every form I'm tried them, but I just can't stand the texture of a raw apple.

lol i'm the total opposite. apple pie is like the bottom of the pie barrel for me. but give me a good granny smith....yuup
