I would. There was very little actual interaction between me and Zander.  It was basically  him calling everything I did wolfy, and me going "no you", because I thought it was just him trolling me as he always thinks I'm mafia. I asked him about it but I don't know if he answered.

Definitely arguing the point further isn't helpful to anyone. You both thought that each other overreacted to your reaction. I'd leave it at that, I think everyone has noted your exchange. If either/both of are town, think about what a wolf would want - a wolf would be deliberately causing the argument for wolfish reasons. A town would just be interested in making sure the wolfy behaviour was noticed. 

 

So I'd recommend letting it rest and finding the next bone of contention.

I feel like you're really cherry picking here?  Beyond that I don't think your quip really holds up to the experiences we've all had playing with very stubborn villagers before, it doesn't make much sense to me if I put it back in context?  Zander had a pretty clear reason for suspecting Lenlo.  Villagers are willing to work with bad reads, it sounds nice but like, the villager has to think the bad read is coming from a villager first.  If Zander thinks Lenlo is a wolf then... why wouldn't he say he doesn't believe him?

You seem a little frantic, but I'm not willing to say at this point that you are any more wolfy than you always appear to be. 

 

But I'm certainly not keen on how of the discussion is purely based on Zander/Lenlo arguing about jokes. I know this doesn't mean they are wolves or one of them, but it certain seems to be helping the wolves. 

 

When you accept that Zander is going to be loud and boisterous as either alignment, you have to look past it and check out his reasons.  It makes sense that Zander would be sketched out by Lenlo bringing up the Dice lynch joke as a set-up (I haven't fully let go of that one either).  It makes sense that Zander would then see quite a few people accusing him for things they ought to know he'd say as either alignment and, finding it irrational, assume there's an agenda in the mix.  Town Zander makes sense, maybe not always in the words he's shouting but in the paths that get him there.  If he's a wolf here he was heavily sussed for the wrong reasons and did a tremendous job, to his overall detriment, of replicating his town behavior in response to them.  Nothing's ever locked in but I think he's very likely a villager.

Just wanted to say because I'm seeing a couple of discomfort posts about the thread state yesterday, the aggro is all in good fun and can actually be pretty productive for some players in feeling each other out.  Obviously it's not for everybody, and if anyone's making you feel directly uncomfortable, please by all means let them know!  But I've played with Zander and Lenlo enough that I feel confident saying they weren't mad at each other, and if I get a bit scrappy with either of them down the road, the same applies.

Thoughts on Turin's summary post.

 

Up to this point and including that post, I've never gotten the sense that he's pushing an agenda to lynch villagers.  Lack of agenda vibes was what had him in my village early, and that has sustained.  Wolves don't necessarily need an agenda on D1.  They can sit back and let the chaos of zero information reign.  But it's a good look up to this point.

 

I do find myself at odds with him on a lot of reads.  He has Lenlo pretty high and I'm mixed there.  He has Verbal pretty high and Verb's the only person I've found to be just wolfy with no counterpoint up to now.  He has Zander low albeit not in a damning way, and I think Zander's a villager.  One of us is wrong, or maybe we're both wrong to some degree about different things, but I get the inevitable jeebees that maybe he's a wolf who's not pushing an agenda wrt who we should lynch but is trying to prop up his team mates a bit.  These are conditional things and not a concern for today.  We'll see where the flips lead us.
