This is what I'm talking about. You've been "Lenlo is wolf" since D1, with 0 effort in actually pushing or casing me beyond "He feels wolfy", and then you make openly opportunistic posts about "I'll go where the consensus is, I dont really care who, here's like half the game I'd accept". If you're a wolf, you're getting by via Zander's effortless pocket since no one is putting any effort/care into reading you, and if you're a town you're a millstone.

THANK YOU FOR SPELLING IT OUT

I'd expect literally anything, either from y'all or someone else. I dont see you being this hands-off/soft with Heavy after all. I'd expect y'all to actually consider that new people have just as high a chance of rolling wolf as anyone else, so we can't just ignore them.

Also lol "My top 3 suspects are all new players" my brother in christ, Verb is the open vig, you're the claimed watcher, I know I'm town. Most of the game that's left are "new" people my guy. Are you just upset I'm not lock sold sheep following you on Dice when your entire read is vibes based? Would me suddenly switching one of those to Turin completely alleviate this concern, "Oh well he's suspecting someone who isn't new so suddenly this sus list looks a whole lot better". Hell, in this very post you say "New players... Or someone who isn't actually a new player".

How about we actually read their content in the game and don't just give people free passes, because how else do you expect them to learn.

This is beautiful. If Lenlo is wolf he deserves to win on his own

You like to give everyone else crap for how poorly this town has run this game, but dude you're vibe clearing half of the players because "Oh they are new, this tell can't possibly be a wolfy they are just inexperienced".

💯

Anyways I can't in good conscience keep my vote on someone I am sure is town

Not sure why no one has mentioned it, maybe a lack of trust, but Turin's case of Dice well articulated how I thought Dice has played a weak game, especially by Dice standards. As Zander has mentioned, usually when Dice catches a scent he's poor a blood hound and zeros in on scum. Feels like he's barely trying this game. His most active flurry of posts has been about wrestling.

This is such a weird game.

Turin appears helpful but is just free-wheeling through the chat, rather than trying to control it. He has sweet talked me by believing I'm Town so it's difficult to get a read on him. Everything he has posted seems plausible.

Dice seems too quiet. Makes sense but doesn't seem to be deep diving.

Lenlo claims that he didn't fill the thread with pointless NAI argument early on, even though everyone saw him and Zander do so. Claims he isn't combat e while telling me to "piss off" for trying to help. Claims I make stuff up, misrepresent everything and just am a terrible player, yet also sees this as an argument to lynch me. How can being a bad player be AI? Helping new players does not mean you have to bully them or make the game unpleasant for them. Don't get you at all as your antagonism is major distraction in the thread which doesn't help Town at all, and the way you moved your vote about didn't make any sense to me.

RTE's admiration of Lenlo is bizarre. I have no idea what to make of this cheerleading and it is this weird dynamic that most made suspicious of them both.

It seems strange that we as new players are told we can play the way we want, we don't have to answer questions or be super active etc but then older players attack them in the thread and moan about millstones around their necks. I don't see how that attitude is meant to help. I have been trying to solve for Town, or pretendíng to so I don't look suspicious, and I have been treated like I was polluting this fine thread for daring to do so. Others have been quieter and have been attacked for being quiet. I just don't see how Town benefits from this atmosphere, though I do see how the wolves do. But then it would be so obvious to act like this... So WIFOM.

I cannot read you guys. I cannot see an underlying wolf tactic, I cannot really see what town is trying to do. I get pushing players by calling them sus, but pushing them by calling them bad I don't get.

Play the way you want for sure.  Don't know who told you that you don't have to answer questions tho.  If you don't answer questions you're 100% going to be sussed, annoy players and likely get lunched more often than not.  Activity ofc is up to the player themself but certain players find low activity suspect.  Also Wolves will push players based on inactivity especially if that particular player is normally active.  Like if I was playing low activity in I'm gonna be sussed.   All that said....YES you can play however you want.  But like anything in like, whatever you do you gotta deal with the consequences of your choices.  Hope that makes some sense to you.  Some players play more aggressively some more chill.  Everyone is different and subscribes to their own play style and play, sus, make reads etc in their own chosen/learned/taught way and develops their own playstyle from it usually it's a trial and error thing and it's fined tuned over time and experience.

  • RP - PLAYER

I never said anything about evading consequences, I'm talking about other players treating you like crap because you aren't playing the way they want you to.

It's one thing about making a case against someone, it is another thing to just try to make the game as unpleasant as possible for them.

Like RTE pushing Gudrean to see how she will react seems like a valid game plan. Lenlo waxing lyrically about how she is a millstone around his neck does not to me. In my most humble opinion of course.

And I also don't like how these discussions detract from solving, and are completely NAI, but I feel are rather forced upon us.

It seems it should be a given that Town players are trying to get town to win and wolves are trying to win. It seems like that is too much up for debate in this game.

That would be me. Players have autonomy over their own game. They can choose to give explanations. They can choose to ask or answer questions. They can only post memes or go full Hodor! and only post their vote.

The interpretation of their choices? That's a whole other kettle of fish.

Bold: Someone lied to you

Underlined: Looks suss

Italics: You need to call out inactive players because otherwise so easy for scum to play that way and not incriminate themselves. You need to see everyone interacting with everyone so if we ever get a wolf flip you go back and look at how they were with/what they thought about other players

Surprised you think wolves would push inactivity. I suspect they would be the ones hanging back while town decimate each other. Or is this the whole policy lynches are bad thing and that's an easy push hence why I've been called scummy for trying to get the poorer/quieter players to do more?

I think you have to accept that in Mafia people are going to be "crappy" to each other.

If someone is trying to hide something then people want to poke and see how they react. People poke in different ways.

This game is a mind game so don't be surprised when people try to play with/alter your mind and emotions

If the low activity is Town, then would they not be considered LHF? One more mislynch to Wolf victory?

Well that's why no one should be so inactive to be an easy target in the first place

I think our wolves are sitting back though hence why I've pushed the quiet people

I very much respect this stance.  I hope you can also respect mine, as it differs slightly, but has the same impact.  If mafia has become a game where we gauge each other's tantrums to see if it's true or not, then this game has passed me by and it's time to really give it up.  I already have kids, I'm not going to read tantrums in games, too.

Its AtE. It has nothing to do with his game play. Why cant you just ignore it and go on his actual gameplay?

I don't have a specific Dice read, I'm sheeping Zander on it as he's also confirmed town.  And just look at POE options, it's not crazy to have him in there.  Or Turin.  Or you.

What happens when you find out he is wrong?

What are you going to do or say when you lynch me and I flip Town? Cause thats whats going to happen

If a townie sees a confirmed townie confident in a solve, is sheeping them an awful decision?

Yes. It is.

I believe many people have pointed out repeatedly that Dice is playing differently than the last game, which I am aware you weren't in @Lenlo but it is there.

alright lets hear it. Tell me how im playing differently and dont mention activity. Cause thats actually the only difference.

So you answer me then i will tell you how youre wrong.

Someone did not lie to me.

Italics, I'm pointing out this new player hate is not restricted to any one alignment. That blatantly is NAI, but you do you.

Call out does not mean personally attack. Like I say, your "wolf says what?" push on Gud is totally fair, imo. Last game I had both Z and Turin going at me and it wasn't fun, but it is the game. Attacking people personally and their game style I don't see as pushing.
