I am a little heartbroken but only because I made the wrong choice with my role as watcher. 😭

Yaay we won. And now I can finally say these two things.

 

1. I was purposefully ignoring/not updating my read of RTE all game after he pocketed me as town so that my death inevitably lead to his, so glad that worked.

 

2. I still stand by the bad joke, I say that as either alignment, and I was never pushing for a Zander lynch there or gaslighting him, it's just a legitimately bad tradition that needs to die and Zander over reacted to that. Wolf or town, I call that stupid, and D1 goes mostly the same. Only dif is I vote RTE instead of Cass, since I was setting up the RTE mislynch back then.

I have banned the word 'stupid' in future games. I can't cope with the fall out. Day 2 nearly did me in for sure. Such a roller coaster of emotions!

 

Everyone is busy reading the Dead Thread I think. There was some excellent insights in there. Some real funny bits too 🙂

Well, I made up for messing up my N1 vig shot.  Called Lenlo scum D1 and didn't waver.  Got him lynched.  Correctly POE'd remaining scum (Turin), with the correct call on the low laying scum (Cairos).  Called out the 2 groups to lynch from, group 1 was accurate and called out the right one from group 2.

 

Call the vig shot bad, but I made up for it.

For future reference and a learning opportunity:  in this case, always watch the confirmed townie - mafia has to get rid of them via NK.

 

And that confirmed townie had Turin as scum, so watching him is not the right play - watch the 100% townie.  GG though, I like your style.

Good game guys. Sorry that I haven’t been around that much. You guys did great! RTE you were great and on the money. So was Heavy and Verb! 

We had to shoot you Verb. I hoped that I could convince town of RTE without you around. I was prepared to lose Cairos if needed. 

 

I followed Heavy onto Lenlo knowing Len had tied himself to RTE. 

 

Shad had to die N1 because he is too good.  I didn't even know.how.mamy quality reads he snuck in until I went back to case Zander.  Shad is my mafia hero that I endeavour to become when I grow.up. I couldn't see how anyone had him sketch. 

Zander had to die because he was the watcher. Plain and simple.  It was a bonus that he was a barrier to eject RTE.

I'm sorry if I was snippy at times and a bit short tempered.  Also that Turin was more absent than usual.

 

We couldn't tell you, but I had a bad scan result and had to have more tests done. It was quite worrying for both of us, but we couldn't really say anything or it might have affected the game, especially with Turin being on the Mafia team.

 

But I'm OK. The extra scans seemed to indicate everything will be well and I'm just waiting for confirmation from the biopsy.

 

But I know this game felt a bit 'off' so wanted to explain why that might have been.

tbf, you did waffle on the read at the start of D2 a bit. Also between policy cutting out RTE and the soul reads it really cut down the field. That was part of what made this difficult, like half the game was hard to lynch based on those.

I was rooting for you homie to be fair you played great Hero shots are heroic when they work I woulda went big game hunting too plus you did Shad a solid obviously that End of Day 2 horribleness could have possibly flipped that game wide open for us but guess

468394 fishing attempts and End of Day 2 really made it almost impossible to pull though.

I should also apologize a bit. While I was purposefully aggressive in how I worded things at times because I knew not everyone would be able to respond to such aggression, I do think annoyance at certain things caused me to cross a line at times, which isn't OK, so for that I apologize. Specifically I would like to apologize to Gud and Heavy, whom I treated like experienced players with thick calluses when it really wasn't appropriate, even if there was a strategy reason behind it.
