I want to do a 3D version of the White Tower in Maya (for anyone who knows what that is) and a little bit of Tar Valon, for the calender competition. I want to be as accurate as possible, so I was wondering if anyone could point me to a few descriptions. Maybe I'm being lazy, but I honestly don't feel like rifling through all the books.

 

Any help at all would be appreciated. Thanks.

Check out book 2, Chapter - something, sry cant remember the number and my books are in the other room. The chapter is called the white tower, page 272. I think it is page 280 when RJ describes the white tower. I could be wrong, sry if I am. Good Luck with the competition.

Chapter 18 of The Great Hunt is the one malin was referencing.

it has a good description in the BWB(big white book). i remember it said it was bone white and the top of the tower was slightly smaller than the bottom.

 

Yup, and the top half of the tower is divided into seven pie-shaped sections, one for each ajah.

 

And the top of the tower is flat, I think they used to grow a garden up there, but it was too hard to maintain.

Well, as good as encyclopaedia-wot usually is, that picture took a lot of liberty.  The White Tower looks pretty much nothing like that fairy castle (as the description you accurately provided in your first post demonstrates).

that picture looks like the white house and cinderellas castle combined. the pictures from the comics of new spring are pretty good if you want to base some stuff on them.
