I am looking forward to be part of the Band. The on line game I play my character is Zeth Alley and he is a Scout and File Leader for the Band. I would like to learn as much as I can about the Band so all help will be appreciated. My name is Dwayne and I am from Boise ID. U.S. I have playing D&D for a little over 26 years and just got started into the Wheel of Time.

Welcome Zeth ... I have an ex-Brother in Law who has lived in Boise for about 26 years as well! Small world.

Welcome to the Band Zeth! I'm Mystica, one of the Redarms and Blademasters of the Infantry and Editor in Chief of the Hornsounder. I'll be the one slapping spotfines on you should you break one of the laws of the Band (after you used up your stripes as RR or after you're through the RR program) ;) Don't worry, most actually like getting spotfines.... We're a weird bunch that way lol.

 

Have yourself a Guinny or 10, get comfy, put your feet up, hold on to your breeches and any other loosely attached garment or piece you may not want to loose, for the Amazing Spiel will knock your socks off.

D&D isn't an online game, well, not till they made DDO.  D&D was made back in the 70's by Gary Gygax as a... dice based role play game.  He formed up a lot of rules and combat scenario, and well... it's awesome to play.  It was actually - as rumor goes - a basement creation of him and several of his friends that would get together and do warlike games with miniatures.

 

*Grins*  Welcome to the Band Zeth.  If you can't tell, I am a D&D person as well - granted not 26 years worth, but several modules and self mades.  Haven't taken the leap to DM yet... but I have the book!
