Yep, Drew Carey is the new host of the Price is Right..... he is no Bob Barker....

Massive buckets of lame. Isn't he already hosting a game show? He just needs to put Whose Line Is It Anyway back together; everything he's touched since has withered and died.

I didn't really like him as the host.... Clive was much better... that said... anything with Ryan Stiles in it is TV gold!

I loved Whose Line. I hate Drew Carey. I don't watch The Price is Right very often anymore (work and all), but I can't imagine Drew being the right match. He thinks he's so cool, and so funny, and he's really just a dummy.  :P

Well he is only slightly better than Rosie O'Donnell.

Oh is that why they released her name first.  To make him look great in comparison.  In any case he is not the right person for this show.  Should have gotten someone else entirely.

ANYTHING is better then the Green-Screen show he started that lasted like, 3 episodes on comedy central.

Yeah, I as a little confused by this announcement.  I don't get it.  I watched The Price is Right religiously as a little kid and then again during college.  I'm not too excited about Drew Carey being the new host.

He's not with Whose Line anymore. I think he may actually be good for the show. At least better than Rosie anyways, but that isn't saying much. Haha.. they should get Donald Trump.. :)

They should have gotten someone like Chuck Woolery (the host of Lingo) or someone similar.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but the show usually plays to retired people and kids playing hookie from school with nothing better to watch right?  Ah well hopefully Drew won't kill the show.

The funny thing is that I seriously knew college kids who would arrange their class schedules partly around The Price is Right.  It was usually either a really early class then a break for breakfast and TPIR or no classes until after breakfast and TPIR.  I never scheduled my classes that way, but I got lucky and usually ended up being able to watch it at least 3 times a week because I hated early MWF classes.
