Poor kids, my family tree is nowhere near that complex and I lose track of everyone I'm related to.

I don't find it that confusing, and since kids normally don't take an interest in HOW they are related to a person until later, they just want to know how to address them and if they like them, I don't forsee too big of a problem in the near future.  Maybe when they're older, but not when they're little.

Kids often mirror their parents' general feelings towards things. If all the parents seem comfortable with the many relationships at hand, maybe the kids would all be okay with it. But if it is awkward among the adults the children will definitely sense that. Oh, and it also depends on other surroundings like their friends' families...if they have friends...

I agree, and besides all that the babies will have to play the Game Of House to add to it. But wait, Avhienda's having a baby? ???

Not that we are currently aware of.  What we know, courtesy of Min, is that she will at some point.  Apparently 4 at one time.

How about on Elayne's side? Their uncle there (Gawyn) is hooked up with Daddy's old flame..... that always causes stress at family reunions and such.

Not to mention that the same Aunt (Egwene) will have control of the most powerful women on earth. (I refuse to exctept that Elida can win)

 

All in all: Pity the children. And the poor teacher that has to tell them all this stuff.

These kids are going to be double stressed and doated on. Children of the Queen of Andore and the children of the Dragon....Anyone else seeing many visits to a psyciatrists when they get older?

Has anyone put merit toward the fact that Rand is pushing for Elayne to become Queen in Carhien as well as Camelyn. If she is successful in that then each child will grow up to be a ruler. Their personal relations will be mute when being raised to be a king or queen.

I just hope that with all of his Kids being rulers of Places that it doens't fall into cival war like with Hawkwings empire. Min high heeled knife throwers vs Elanne's Super *sniff*ers vs Aviendahs's poke-you-with-sharp-stickers. Utter chaos.

Dont forget Mins sight with acivil war Min kids will be walking around seeing dead people all day. how good do you think thats for somones mental well being. Maby THATS HOW THE WORLD WILL BREAK :o
