Here's another article from the Dallas Business Journal about professional gaming.  I just thought it would be interesting to post.

 

I remember my ex's brother used to be flown and chauffered to lots of gaming cons and sent free games all the time because he did really competent reviews of console games.  It was like a second job where he didn't get paid, but got awesome kickbacks.

 

Anyways, I guess now it's gone a step farther.  I mean, Jeez, if a company gave my kid $100,000 just for wearing their headphones during a gaming competition, I'd pimp him out and start a Gaming Business Plan too.  That's College!  And that's only One product!  I'd be seeing what else I could put on him for profit too.
