Norton got a standing ovation and is escorted to the next round.  Poor Cusack.  We are only left with two people in Round 2.

Morgan Freeman

[glow=red,2,300]Daniel Day Lewis[/glow].  Sorry, Morgan - did I mention Gravitas only takes you so far?

[glow=red,2,300]Morgan Freeman[/glow]

Shawshank Redemption > All

D.D.L. in In the Name of the Father>>>>>>>>>>>Freeman in Shawshank

D.D.L. in My Left Foot>>>>>>>>>>Freeman in Shawshank

Lewis won his oscar for My Left Foot in a leading role, [glow=red,2,300]beating Freeman[/glow] (who was nominated for Driving Miss Daisy)

He won over some incredible nominees that year - aside from Freeman, the others were Robin Williams for Dead Poets Society, Tom Cruise in Born on the 4th of July, and Kenneth Branagh in Henry V.

Freeman won for best supporting actor in Million Dollar Baby, against a weak field of:

Clive Owen in Closer

Alan Alda in the Aviator

Jamie Foxx in Collateral (he had no shot, since he won for Best Actor in Ray) and

Thomas Hayden Church in Sideways (who probably should have won)

Lewis, hands down. Freeman is not half the actor he is. And Lewis has starred in way better mocies as well.

Besides, you can't vote against a guy named Daniel;)
