I just ran a script that should have generated random passwords for DMail and then sent out messages to all of the active DMail members.

 

I did, however, get a report from one member that this e-mail was blank.

 

Did you guys get this message? It should have looked something like:

 

You are receiving this email because you have a Dragonmount.com email (\"DMail\") address.  As stated in previous emails, we will be switching email services effective on the first day of September, 2007.  Beginning on that day, your current DMail account will be switched over to the new system, which is provided by Google.  If you have any mail stored on the current DMail server that you wish to keep, you should arrange to back it up before then.  The Dragonmount.com staff can provide basic and general assistance to you if you need help doing this.  Just email us at Help@dragonmount.com.

 

Once the roll over to the new system is complete, you will be able to login to your new account using the information below:

 

Login URL:  http://mail.dragonmount.com

Username:  <Your DMail Username>

Password: <random password>

 

Please note that your password is CaSe SenSiTiVe.  You will be prompted to change your password when you login for the first time.

 

The new DMail has a lot of cool new features!  If you are already familiar with Google's Gmail service, then you know what you are getting.  It's exactly like Gmail, except your email address is dragonmount.com instead!  You can setup your account to use POP mail, which means you can both import almost any other email account into your DMail, and you can use programs like Outlook, Thunderbird, or Apple Mail to check your DMail account.    Be sure to read the integrated Help system to figure out how to do this.
