If you want a great and original movie, then History of violence is a must.  Kingdom of Heaven can go either way.  I mean I enjoyed it for what it was but it does not stand out from an acting standpoint as HOV did.

Well, haven't started watching anything yet. Going to start in precisely 5 minutes, that's a fact. Think I'll go for kingdom, then watch a history of violence tomorrow *nod* Looking forward to it muchly!

Hasn't been quite 30 minutes yet :D I'm leaning towards kingdom of heaven, but I only have the director's cut which is 3 hours long, so if I don't have time I'll have to settle for a history of violence and do kingdom in the weekend or some such : o

Yes, you should watch Kingdom of Heaven. It's good.

I almost fell asleep during Kingdom of Heaven, it was that pointless.

History of Violence on the other hand, great movie.

Third disc of dilbert, very funny stuff memorable quote

"I have a parking spot right outside the office, it may look like a sidewalk but it isn't"- pointy haired boss

Saw kingdom of heaven, directors cut. Good historical epic, if only for the beautiful shots of everything : p Story a bit thin. Going for history of violence tonight if I can make the time. EIther that or the new episodes of heroes and prison break

Ah, just finished a history of violence.

That was some powerful stuff, last scene had me quite on the edge, the way the daughter brought out the plate and that last look from mrs. Stall. I'm quite the hopeless romantic, so I'm going to assume everything worked out fine, but heck that was a good movie.

I'm about to start watching season one of Gossip Girl. Nearly all of my friends (including most of my guy friends) watch this show, and they generally have good taste. However, they also watch shows like One Tree Hill, and I'm afraid GG will be like that. I'm pretty sure Empy secretly watches Gossip Girl too.

Saw the latest episodes of Prison Break, Heroes and House, and to my surprise rather enjoyed all three, instead of just house like normal.

So, I just watched Season 1 of Californication.

1) I love the show, the first episode, does a wonderful job of this, it hooks ya. And I can't honestly think of a show, that litterally makes me laugh out loud so much as this show did every few episodes.

2) I think I understand why Empy loves this show so much... I mean with the 3-some and all... ;)

3) I didn't realize that the Fornication in Californication, meant Fornication. ;) I thought it had to do with a guy who 'moved' to california, and was trying to 'merge' with the culture in California... But I guess Fornication is one method of merging... *Yea, I know barms, I had to reuse this joke... How could I resist? I mean, you don't think comedians don't write there jokes down?!*

4) Sometimes, I have to wonder if there is just a bit to much sex in this show, alot of it serves no real purpose... but then I think to my self... Why should I care? At least it makes up for the lack of nudity on basic cable. ;)

5) For a showtime series, that has a LOT of naked people on it, I really have to admire the fact that... well you konw, the naked women in the show aren't PITIFULLY BAD ACTORS... Yea, sure they COULD use there 'soft-core' porn actors to fill in the holes... But it seems they actually went with 'quality' this time... WEll, as much quality as you can expect when it comes to toppless actors...

Now if only they could get some jesica alba in it... :P

I did watch a movie this weekend to...

A movie I must admit I'm ashamed of not watching, and that is Dawn of The Dead (2004).

IT was... Okay... I wish they actually DID shoot rosie o'donal in that movie... but I guess thats to much to ask for..

I still need to watch the ORIGINAL movie sometime...

Sin, did you notice that the girl who punched Hank in the face in the first episode is the same girl who played the youngest kid in that Nanny tv-show with Fran Drescher?

ok call me pathetic but i watch the entier deadliest catch marathon on discovery this weekend, i also caught about 20 episodes of mythbusters.... can you tell i miss having cable?

I saw Atonement last night, which was really good, I though

almost had me at tears by the end

manly tears *cough*

Dunbar - Told you that one was good.

Hax - Please refrain from sullying my rep by spreading lies about me watching or even acknowledging the existance of Gossip Girl.  Next up you will accuse me of watching the Hills.  Are you going to watch that one too?  When did you turn in your man card again?

Watched Episode one of Season 2 of Friday Night Lights.  Love netflix on the Xbox (where you at PS3... yeah I thought so).  Coming up I will be watching Hellboy 2, Wanted and the last disk of the Wire (which makes me sad cause the show is like crack... which is funny cause drugs are all up in that show).

Well the first season was excellent.  I am about to drop Grey's from my list of shows to watch and DVR though.

just watched an intresting show on national geo channel.  42 way to kill hitler.  i had no idea that there where so manny people out to get him. there was one guy who missed him by 13 min with a bomb in 1932, another that tried to blow himself up and kill hitler at the same time, and an attemt to bomb the plane he was ridding in.  interesting show for a history geek like me

Saw 24: redemption last night

which was okay, nothing new but 24-tastic, explosions and guns and goddamnits and sonuvabitches and jack bauer *nod*

I give thee 7,5/10 for rekindling my interest and readying me for the new season
