Mr Magorium Wonder Emporium.  Its an awesome kiddish flick.  Bright whimsical and even has a good moral.

Martian Child.  Sad-ish, but quite good.  Excellent characters and the boy is just amazing.  Plus the Cusak is one of my favorite actors.

I love Rome as well.

TWBB was excellent from an acting standpoint.  I agree the plot was a little slow for me at some points, but overall I greatly enjoyed the movie.

So I watched The Host this weekend... which is a Korean horror film that showed up on many top 25 lists from people I respect.  What is it with Asian cinema and overacting?  At times it seems they are going cornball.  Anyway, this movie is a monster flick about some odd monster running amuck near the Han river and capturing people.  It was also suppose to be some host for a virus.... which seemed a little silly to me, especially when the movie wrapped up.  Overall... the monster portion of the movie was very well done.  I was never scared during the movie... but the monster was impressive and fun to watch.  The acting in the movie is not something I am used to and I didn't care for it.  I also had a few issues with the plot... mainly the 'virus' and predictibility of it all.  I would only suggest it for those that enjoy a good monster movie.

Eh. The Host was alright. As a korean that watches Korean horror flicks, there are better ones that are well made.

Tonight is the Seasons Finale of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Anybody gonna see it?

I know I am.  ;D

I have one episode left of season 3 of Prison Break, and I must say I'm crushing a bit on Michael Scofield. Wentworth Miller has such a pretty face...  ;D

ok, so normaly i dont like vampier movies much, the only ones i own being the blade movies (cause wesly snips kicks @$$)  but the other day i saw "duracula" with Anthony Hopkins, Keanu Reevs, Wynona Ryder, Ect, in it.  i thought it was relly good except for the ending was kinda lame. good plot though.

Cads, do you still like Prison Break after season 3? All my friends keep saying it's the awesomest thing ever, and I just keep thinking "Eh... ok?" when I'm watching it. Just wondering if I'm the only one. There just seems to be nothing left of the original storyline, and they killed off nearly every character, which I thought got kinda silly after a while. They should've kept Peter Stormare, he made the show. :P

I got to watch the first half of the Sarah Conner Chronicles season finale....then had to leave for work.  So i must catch the second half on Fox on Demand.

I currently finished watching the complete season of trigun and still have firefly and the first 2 discs of ergo proxy as well as 2 discs of the first season of the jetsons.

<3 Trigun

Anyways, I finally got to watch Pirates of the Caribean 3 (can't remember the rest of the title)

It was in many ways obvious what was bound to happen, but its also great that they didn't finish off the show in a very cliche manner. And everyone knows, a 'tragedy' isn't cliche. :P

I also saw, Blood Diamond. Which was basically a dramatized version of the Discovery Channel Special on the events. I have this nasty habit, of applauding every time di'caprio dies in one of his films... Thats like, all of em right? Well, at least he didn't die like a wussy this time! :P

I finished off both seasons of the Show Time Series, Dexter.

That show is so dark and twisted, I'm glad its over before I started going on a serial killing spree. (Seriously, my 'cat' was starting to become afraid of me.) :P

I Currently finished watching the pilot of New Amsterdam (Again, was busy on the first time through) and am now watching the 2nd episode. <3 it so far. I mean, its Like Highlander, only with a detective. WHATS NOT to love?

/miss Journeyman

Do you think, if I send NBC the hearts of 100 lawyers, still beating, they will put the show back on the air?

he dident die in the only one i liked of his, catch me if you can, but he did at least go to jail.  i guess working with tom hanks can make anyone look good.

oh yeah he also dident die in aviator, just whent stark raving mad

have two new favorite shows.  both are on history channle. dogfights and battle 360.  both are computer generated reenactments of fighter battles (mostly WW2) and are relly cool.  if you have history channle i would requmend them if you are at all intreasted in aviation history

I saw Sunshine recently, and it was good.

I also watched Life of Brian again (I saw it once years ago, but forgot much of it) and it was hilarious all over again.

I just watched The Committments again.  I really liked this movie as a kid and I remember listening to the music quite often as my parents were into Soul, but this time around I was a little bored.  I fell asleep about halfway through.

Well, I saw the move, Semi-Pro in the theaters today.

(People I went with, had seen most of the films there, and compromised on either Semi-Pro, or witless protection... Yea, easy choice. ;))

So, anyways, the movie was a hellava lot funnier, then I thought it was going to be!

I am watching the first season of the new Doctor Who.  I was a huge fan of the old series.  Blown away by the new ones.  It's like all the great stories and characters of the old show with great special effects.  About two eps from completing Christopher Eccleston's turn as the good doctor.

I went to see Run Fatboy Run yesterday afternoon.  As usual I found there to be parts where I really enjoyed the movie, and other parts where I thought it was just plain stupid.  Overall I enjoyed it, it was heartfelt and funny, and you only needed to suspend disbelief a little bit.

My best friend and I just started watching Jem and the Holograms on DVD.  They just don't make quality cartoons like this anymore.  ;D

ive been getting a bunch of disny movies for my kid. been a nice excuse to rewatch them myself.  forgot how good some of them were. my wife had never seen mulan.

Not sure if its Disney, but its disney-esque style of animation..

Its something like Titan AE. (AE = after earth) Its fairly good for a 'cartoon'.

OF course, depending on how old your kids are, you could let em wach Gargoyles. (Animated Cartoon by Disney, probably the Best thing Disney's actually produced, and hey, its not just for kids!) ;)
