I've asked Devon to take on handling his company as his sole puprose.  He will still be around to help out the new RP coordinator as part of his staff.

Both LTs and the Trainee Team Leads will be under the new RP Coordinator to help with planning RPs in their own little "verse".

The RP Coordinator will be the main interface between other RP Coordinators to coordinate the large scale RPs on an interdivision level as well as smaller scale ones with in the Warders.

RP Coordinators will be the approver of all RPs that need it that have to do with anything outside of training (this includes trainee pranks).

If you have a few extra hours to spend, as well as a few extra creative juices to flow, send me an email at matalina@gmail.com with the reason why you'd think you'd be good at the job and a sample RP plan that could work.  This RP plan must involve many characters (not just a one on one RP plan) a minimum of 5 characters, but the larger the better.

You will have pretty much free reign in the RP Coordination department however I would seriously appreciate it if you check with me before altering any of our history or any major events that impact the division as a whole.  I will keep tabs on things but I will try not to interfer unless I see an aboslutel need to.

I think I count five RP co-ords?  THE RP Co-ord, two LT's and two TTL's?  I'm sorry but thats overkill.  It should take no more than five staff members to run the entire division.

Also, while it occurs to me, what of the gaping Timeline issue that TTL will create?  They will lead teams of trainees that will then graduate and as they go up in WS, the forced age will mean that the raising system is inherently gimping Timelines right off the bat.

I really don't care if you think that this is too many people.  The RP coordinators of the past have all failed at doing their job, one two doesn't matter we don't have anything outside of training requirements going on in most cases and the few that do get off the ground either fall short of expectations or nothing happens with them.

Take for example the Tourny that was suppose to happen, nothing did and thus it's failed.

Until we get something that works I'm trying differnt things until something works.  So far nothing has.

This isn't really different at all though.  As I recall, it was two RP co-ords, two LT's and three team captains for the trainees at one point.  Though my memory might be hazy.

And has the TTL issue been discussed at all?  With fixed trainee captains, yet you have trainees going through their reqs and going well past their captains, doesn't that create inherent flaws in the timeline?

I would apply, but I applied for the trainee one and think that's a better fit for me as my character is still a trainee anyway. But I think Mat has a point. The more people working on the goalo, the more chances of it suceeding. Just my 2 cents.

So you have to be staff to have an opinion Steve?  I think we had this discussion yesterday :)

In theory I agree Xanth, the problem though is that the practical application ends up more like 'too many cooks spoil the broth'.  At least, thats been the case in the past.

Well James, I do see what you're saying there.  But then I don't know what I missed during the year I was going that might explain the point-of-view. However something needs to be done to get the good stuff going. So I figure, barring any better ideas, it's worth a try. After all, it seems like the worst that can happen is that nobody does the job and we're right back at the point we're at now.

Actually, the reference to the past I made wasn't for the inbetween period you were gone, it was to the period before you started. :)

Thats the other thing I don't understand though, we have things running already.  The Warders Yard board is busier than normal, in fact the last thread on the first page of it was last posted on the 10th.  Its only been four days :)  And there are active threads on the second page, thats the kind of activity we enjoy at the moment.

Add ontop of that, there is the Kandor RP (currently stalled, but no doubt being worked on to get it up again).  We've got that party thread with the new Amyrlin which I noticed you jumped on quite quickly :)  That allowance Steve made for people to play at full rank was pretty handy.  Only reason I'm not on that thread is because of timeline considerations with my character (depressed, not partying, etc etc).

Its not like we're out of things to do :)  Yes, RP co-ords could help plan more, but I don't see it as any different to you coming up with an RP plan for trip to fight some bandits about the Black Hills when you become Tower Guard and opening it up for people to jump on board, or as a trainee organising a match between trainees and tower guard/warders or a prank or maybe even a mission with some fellow trainees if your mentor was snatched while on a mission (that req with the mission and being seperated, 5-6?  Can't remember off the top of my head).

I guess the basic point I'm driving towards is that people will make RP's if they're interested in making them and playing them.  You don't need to be an RP co-ord to do it :)

Speaking of which, got any plans for your trainee?  Had an idea to run by you, seeing as Aran was your trainer briefly for the philosophy.  Got messenger?  If not you should get it :)

I don't have MSN no, but I do have Skype messenger.  bcxanth on there.  Right now I'm just doing filler RPs with Kopair while I wait for my Mentor to get back from her LoA. :P  Then we've got a little plan for the next training req that we're trying to get a Tinker party together for in order for Kopair to interract with them.

Then besides some long-term plans with Nephie for Kopair's future Gaidinism, I don't really have any other plans for him.
