CALLING ALL EUROPEAN DMERS!!!!

 

After the success and fun of the first ever DM EuroMeet, held in London over a long weekend in July 2007, planning for the next EuroMeet is well underway. And what makes DM EuroMeet 2008 even more exciting is the fact that 2008 is the year that DM celebrates its 10th Birthday! So why not join in the celebrations with your fellow DMers from Europe?

 

After the London meet and discussion on the DM boards, two cities have been chosen as possible locations for DM EuroMeet 2008. Voting is currently going on to determine where the event will be held, and the voting ends on 31st October 2007 to allow the next stage of the planning to start. The two cities that were nominated are:

 

Ghent, nominated by Mystica

--> the whole meet will be held around the Festival of Ghent, a 10 day event of non-stop partying, cultural exposure, concerts, fun and internation gathering.

 

Amsterdam, nominated by several DMers

--> the meet would include the Anne Frank Museum, the Heineken Experience and much much more that the Dutch Capital can offer.

Errr... I won't be there.  But I encourage someone to go in my place!

Actually, he's encouraging TWO people to go in his place, one sitting on the other's shoulders. He's very tall.

I also would like someone to mention me there.  I am very narcisitic.

 

If you could have a whole topic about me and report back... that would be awesome!

The Ghent thing sounds way awesome, I might go for that one. I would of course represent the Seanchan and wear an Empy t-shirt. I'd also shave my legs and wear a mini skirt in honour of Cads. What?

The torso of Emp combined with the leginess of Caddy.  Sounds AWESOME!

Hax - start growing your hair NOW, and then before the meet, dye it brown and get an awful perm, and then you'll have my hair as well. Or just shave it and have Empy's (lack of) hair instead.  ;D

 

I am in full support of these ideas.  8)

To be diplomatic about this, I'll shave half my head and perm the other half.

Or I can represent the hair, it's not That far from the shoulders right now. And it's already brown and curly, so no need for dyeing or perming:D

You have hair?! I think I've only seen you with a closely shaved noggin. How close does it come to qualifying as a 'fro?  ;D

Uhm, pretty damn far from. But with some products and some fierce comb-work...*g*
