1. Green Greeter

 

The Green Ajah Greeter is essentially our first point of contact for newcomers, liaison to novices & Accepted including definite aspirants, potential aspirants, and that wide class of undecided people out there who just want to play with us. Paraphrased from the original thread, the person should ...

 

- Be our liaision to the novices & Accepted. Keep a watch on the Secret Whisper Hole & bio board. Answer questions and be friendly toward newcomers where possible.

- Be available ideally on one or more common chat programs. This position is about networking and meeting new people. Email could be a substitute if necessary.

- Start the occasional Green Ajah-themed roleplay or class open to new members. Be active in promoting these events where possible.

- Keep the Ajah posted about upcoming aspirants.

 

(Nobody showed interest in this post on the public boards so I'm thinking that we will need to pick up the slack. Tiassale ... given your excellence in this role to date I would offer my firstborn for you to pick it up again! Let me know if you're interested.)

 

2. Website

 

Our website doesn't get frequented much at the moment and I'd like to see us get more use out of it. Some improvements to think about are adding a Green Ajah history section and possibly a staff section listing the current Captain General & Banner Captains. This is a rather wide ranging task but I'm thinking that if you consult with sisters & sitters about possible updates and anything additional they'd like to see on the website, narrow these down to a list of proposals to be implemented, then prepare the material (delegating tasks if necessary - can use Defender points as a reward) then upload it to the website ... it should be fairly simple.

 

3. Profile

 

Given the quietness & near inactivity at the moment our status is dropping somewhat and I want us to be among the most well known groups on the site. Bear in mind some of the big activities we've done in the past, eg. the tourney, and think about different ways for us to raise our profile back. You can either champion these activities and bring them into play yourself or delegate them (but the progress of these should be checked on from time to time so they do eventually get implemented).
