I have to ask this for my mental health....

Ok I have to ask a question, I don't care if you are all gonna hate me but I have to ask this question. I just found out today about RJ's passing. I was mortified, sat stunned in my chair staring at the computer screen for about twenty minutes....will A Memory Of Light ever be published?!?!?!?!?!?! Can't face the possibility of never getting to read book twelve of the wheel of time! I'm sure that there are many out there who feel the same way.

believe me, you're not the only one who had that feeling.

but it seems pretty certain that the book will be finished. would be waht RJ wanted right?

I hope so! wow, I knew that he had been ill for a long time but I never thought he would die before finishing the book. Anyway AMOL not being published would be a crime to RJ's legacy.

We know that he was getting out notes and recordings about what he wanted to have happen, we know that he told Wilson and Harriet the ENTIRE story, and we know that there was a plan for an "army" of writers to finish the book.

Who this "army" is, how much RJ wrote himself, how much he got out in his notes, if this "army" has started working, we do not know. My guess is we'll have to wait a few months before we get some of those answers.

I'm sure that book 12 will be published, I doubt that Harriet would leave her husbands great work unfinished.

I just hope we don't have to wait 20 years, like we had to do with Dune. :)
