This may have been discussed before, or I may be the only one who thinks this, but either way I have to ask.  Does anyone fel that the Ogier (Loial)pictured on the dust jacket art for "The Great Hunt" looks more "Human" than RJ described them in the books.  I guess every time I picture an ogier from the descriptions I come up with a Bipedal, Humanoid character, but I almost see them more as (call me crazy) a slim version of the royal family in "Fraggle Rock".  Obviously less Muppety, but all the descriptions like the bushy eyebrows, maniputable pointed ears, and bulbuous noses make me invision the head as much larger than pictured. 

very true. artists don't always read the work. sometimes they just work from a single, very limited description.

 

besides, most people i know don't really like the artist for twot.

i always pictured them as bigfoot with less hair :P

I tend to think of Shrek looking. Just different coloring and more facial hair.
