So, ive read the series including NS 3 times now... im just wondering if someone could recommend a good series of books i can pass time with untill AMoL comes out... any ideas?

well, if you scroll through the threads here in general discussion, there are quite a few threads for just this purpose.  that's gonna be the most expedient way to find some suggestions.

 

myself, i'd steer you towards robin hobb.  for some old school sword and sorcery, you can always check out conan (the originals, not the crap from dekamp.  jordan actually wrote a few conan books; they're a'ight), and a few others by robert e howard.  there are a lot of anthologies of his stuff out the last few years.  as long as you can power through the sexism and racism, it's a good read.  in a somewhat similar vein (they were peers and friends), i would definitely recommend lovecraft.

Try L.E. Modessit Jr.  There is the Saga of Recluce (14-15 books ongoing) and the Spellsong war (5 books).
