Hiya folks, nice place ya got here nowdays :D.

Must have been years since I came by last time but thought I should drop by and say hi with all memories of this place, I specially remember those ol boards that kept breaking down with a kinda hate-love fondness(Must been around 2001, give or take a year as I cant remember)  ;D.

 

Still seeing some of the ol people around thought im not 100% if its the same ones. Used to play a Warder by the name of Denethor, bonded to an Aes Sedai of the name of Reile Tarkene if I remember correctly.

 

For those members I do remember:

Good to see your still around Karana, long time no see.

And Kathana and Matalina, never really got to know either of you but who could forget either of you ,*Gives a deep bow*

 

To any other old members around, cheers to you. Its good to see this place is still around and kicking.

Hello denethor!  Welcome back!  I dont know much about the old boards, but from what I understand they have changed a bit since then.  The RP and the Community side have undergone a split as you will notice looking down throught the boards.  So now you can just goof around or RP, or both. 

 

Speaking of Community sides, I would like to encourage you to come and check out the Wolfkin Org.  We are a crazy, fun-loving bunch, and we would love to have you stop by.  You are sure to get a welcome like no other!  And in the case that you decided to join us, you can still be a warder as well.  I know of a few people who are wolfies and warders at the same time. *points to self*

Welcome back to Dragonmount Denethor!!! Glad to see you are back. I am too new to know you from back then, but it is always good to see a member return.

 

I would stop by the White Tower Org. and post something there to get their attention. I bet there are a few people who remember you hanging out there.

 

I would also like to second Dos's invitation to the Wolfkin Org. We are a fun nature based group who love visitors. You don't have to join to come enjoy the hospitality of us wolfies.

You'll probably have noticed a lot of changes, including in structure.

 

Kathana is still the Amrylin here, and both she and Matalina are now Admins (not sure if they were back in the day or not)

Well, you really taking me down memorylane now hehe. Im not a 100% when I came to DM first since it was quite a while ago :) but yes, back then Kathana was Amyrlin and I think Matalina was Master of Arms for the warders at that time. But think I ran into DM as early as 1999, concidering I made a trip to the US around 2001 to visit my good friend and DM IC bondholder.

 

Im not all that good at remember the dates thu. Have a question thu when it comes to that...do DM still keep the RPing from back then archived or have they been lost in time. Just might take a look if they are still around here somewhere ^^.

 

As for the structure, aside from that there are more orginizations around nowdays I dont see much difference. I have no doubt that the Rping rules and how to deal with RPing coord(And such) for new things have changed quite a bit since back then thu.

The RP and the Organizations have actually split at some time, I'm not sure just when, but it was a while back. So RP is the bottom half of the site. I dunno if this was after your time or during it.

I joined DM over 3 years ago, and the split was present then. But we are now on one board, unlike before.

 

As for what to do, take up Stef's offer of passing by the Campfires of the Band of the Red Hand. A stein of Battle Brew awaits you, and should you join up, a fabled M-G Brew will end up in your hands! We are DM's music and travel ORG, as well as being home to Blademasters, Knights and Assassins (depending on which Regiment you join). We have loads of fun, so come and join in!

 

But whatever you do now you have returned, have fun! :)

Oh well, have not decided if Im going to actively take up Rping yet even if I plan to stick around here on the boards. At the matter a fact, just gonna check up how to revive my old warder to semiactive status at least. But thxs for the offer thu, Ill keep it in mind if I decide to fully come back to active status.
