Okay, I figured that was a typo and it was actually a "car door". Nope. He died in a cat door. Probably suffocated trying to squeeze far enough in to reach up and unlock the door.

 

Dude, if the girlfriend locks you out, just go home, don't try to break back in. Nothing good's gonna come from it. Of course, it's too late to tell him now.
