Resume (CV) help!

Hey all,

I just wanted to know if any of you have included stuff like charities you donate to on your resumes? I am updating mine and it just occurred to me that listing the charities I fork out my hard-earned cash to might be a good idea. :) I'm not sure if it's the done thing though.

That's all :)

Personally, I think if you raise money to donate to charities, put it on, but if you are talking about just writing a cheque out of your bank account, I don't see that impressing them too much, as basically anybody could dole out cash they've made at their job(s). It doesn't take much to put a cheque into the mail, you going the extra mile to organize a fundraiser does though.

Thats just my opinion though, and not exactly one filled with experience at all.

Yep, that's what I thought :) Just checking though *g*

Unless you have worked for those charities, or done fundraising for them...don't put it on. Thats my best advise. *nods*
