The Wheel of Time role playing game (home edtion) Does any one own and play it. I got one for Christmas, famliy knew i liked the books, is it any differnt then D&D or is the rules about the same.

We've got it and we've played it.  It uses the d20 system that WOTC developed for DnD 3.0. So if you're familiar with that, it should be easy to play. The only thing I don't like about it is the way the channeling rules work. I understand why they developed that way, I just don't think its very true to the books.  But its a very fun game and my Director of Programing is trying to talk me into doing a game of it at JordanCon.
