The nominations for this year are done so it is time to cast gazes to the future.

The best threads can be planned before hand only so much because it is the characters that really make the story come alive. But to do some plotting, what kind of stories do you think could win Awards in year 2008?

Have you read some good books or seen good movies that could be gleaned for ideas for the genre categories?

What kind of drama, action, adventure, horror and fun we haven't yet seen in DM?

I myself would really like to do a Thelma and Louise like road trip / adventure / survival story. Likely it would require a creation of a new character, though, and I don't have time for that currently. But when I have time, anyone want to be my Thelma or Louise? :)

Adventure in style of Indiana Jones and Tomb Raider could also be cool and even doable with my existing characters.

Pretty awesome horror movie that I saw recently was a Spanish one called the Orphanage. Missing children might be a bit too done thing, though, and I don't want to pile too much permanent suffering on my characters.

Been wanting to mimic a Shakespearian Play. Like 'Much ado about nothing', 'Measure for measure' or something..

:) I figure that would be fun.

I just realized that a thread I did long ago with Rayne was very much in the Thelma and Louise vein.  Lads, Light and the Simple Life.

But I'd so be up for another Thelma and Louise adventure, Arette. *pokes*
