I'm New!

Hi, I've poped in from time to time, to catch up on all the goings on, but in honor of Robert Jordan.. and that the last book might soon come out and this series which I have been reading for more than half my life might be ending, I felt it was time to take a stand and register!

I have read the series countless times now.. I am one of those people who if I pick up a book a can't put it down.. so getting new books is very dangerous for me. So instead whenever its a rainy day and I have some free time I randomly pick a WoT book and pick a random page and just start reading.. usually keep reading till I get to the end of the series.. and I always find something NEW!

Suffice to say I probably know the later books better than the earlier due to this! though my favorite book is book 2!!!

I play a wheel of time online game called WoTmud.. its extremely bookish. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs more of a WoTfix.

I would love to play a game of stones.. are there any online versions of it? or places one can purchase the real thing..

Not that I think I'd have any chance of taken on one of the greats like Padron Nial or Queen Morgase..

Hey there Paitar, welcome to DM.

sounds like you are very into WoT, which is what we like to see round here...lol

Pop by the Orgs and have a look around, we are the social side of the site, and would love to see you.

I would like to recommend the Wolfkin and the Bans of the Red Hand. The Wolfies are all about Nature and the great outdoors. But we are also the Home of TQ (tequila) and Chilli and have our own TQ lake and monster (friendly of course) and we are sure to give you a warm welcome.

The Band is the Music and travel Org, and has funa nd games, including our own Org game, jousts, brews and brawls and out very own newspaper the Hornsounder.

Well what ever you decide I hope to see you round DM

Welcome to DM! :)

I see Talya has mentioned the Band of the Red Hand ORG already. But no harm in mentioning it again! The Band is DM's very own music and travel ORG, and a place bursting at the seams with fun! We offer something for everyone, so you'll find something that suits your needs. Plus you'll be able to sample the heavenly delights that are the variety of Battle Brews we offer! I hope you take the time to pop by our Campfires, and enrol with the greatest fighting machine in Randland!

But whatever you do here at DM, have fun! :)
