Dragonlance DVD

 

Has anyone heard anything about this.  It was apparently released this week on DVD.  It appears to be an animated version of the books.  Voice actors include Keifer Sutherland/Raistlin, and Lucy Lawless/Goldmoon, and Smallville's Lex Luther Michael Rosenbaum/Tanis.

I heard they were making it, but wasnt sure if it was going straight to dvd.

It is of the devil and we shall never speak of it again.

So, its pretty ordinary Kath???

I saw the trailer and it was horrible!  The animation sucked @$$.  Even Tracy Hickman hated it.

Sounds like a must see for the entire Seanchan org! 

The one who loses the next bet we have has to watch it? Kinda like when you had to watch APE. Did you ever get around to that, btw? ;D

Hmm well I had hoped that with some noted actors doing voices, that it would have had some credibilty...lol. 

Have watched a half-hour of this disgrace. Thats all that needs to be said. :-X

Well, I may have to check it out just to say I did.  ;)

I watched it.  And I have to say... I was moderately entertained.  At least it followed the book fairly truly.

 

It was really juvenile, though.  Just because it was a cartoon, I guess?  It could have been more adult and still been a cartoon, though.

Well as I recall the books usually fall into that young teen age group for reading materials.  I know I read them in High School as well as several people I knew.
