I know that if a member is inactive for three months a bond with them can be canceled, however, is there a process or filing or something that needs to be done for that to occur?  I'd love for my bondmate to come back but I'm not even sure how the heck to contact him as it's been a long while since we've chatted.

Pretty certain it just says that it can be canceled, not anything about how one goes about that.  Figured it wasn't safe to just assume I could play it like the bond never happened without a thumbs up from folks here so... I asked.
