Yellow Ajah Character: Eqwina al’Caupthn

 

Why did you join the Yellow Ajah?

For most of her Novicehood and Accepted life Eqwina seemed to be headed to Green. She had already found the love of her life at a young age and another man ready to give his life for hers. As the time grew closer for her to attain the shawl she began to feel as if she were only choosing Green to avoid hurting the ones she loved. Her entire life Eqwina had wished for a way to bring the dead back to life. Her mother and father died when she as 7 because their Inn burned to the ground, then the gleeman who had taken her under his wing died in his sleep not too many years later. Eqwina arrived in the Tower looking for a home, and a way to heal. After passing her tests it all became clear in her mind. The Yellow Ajah was where she was meant to be. Now if only she could cure a broken heart.

 

Favorite Part about playing a Yellow Sister:

Yellow Sisters are known as elitists and passionate, sometimes high strung. I think all of that describes Eqwina to a T. Anyone helpless or in pain Eqwina shows her softer side too, but if they are not, she is indifferent. It is fun to be able to play both sides of ball all with in one character.

 

Things you would most like to do with your Character:

Because it is so central to who is was and where she came from, I would like her to find another man to love. No one will ever replace Nevin, but I would like to see if she could handle it in an adult manner. I would also like to have her make at least one close female friend in the tower. She has a hard time getting close to people and I would like to see someone win her over.
