It's a little bit like survivor, in that every day there's a vote to eliminate a player. However, there are two teams, the Lightfools and the Trollocs, and when only one team is left, they win. The fun comes from the fact that the teams are not announced on the thread, and so the lightfools don't actually know who the trollocs are. The trollocs also eliminate a person of their own choosing every night, just to make it more sinister.

I didn't really understand it when I first played, but you pick it up quickly.
