i dont know much about it but i heard on the news tonight that a groop in england have officaly opend the church of the jedi.  now dont get me wrong, i love star wars, but relly.... GET A LIFE!!!!!!

Wow I thought I was a geek.  So how do I go about becoming a Jedi?

I imagine you have to be tested for medichlorians (sp). Then if you have the right amount, you get hooked up with a Jedi Master, and he/she starts referring to you as their young paduwan(again, sp). Then after many many years training with a rat tail, you become one with the force. Forget about relationships though, since it hinders your force oneness....yeah.

Actually, the people of Austrailia made Jedi their religion a few years back.  On their census data, many people put Jedi as their religion, enough so it is a recognized religion.

 

I have put Jedi as my religion on the 2000 census, and I plan to put Sith as my religion for the 2010 Census.

I've just stumbled across their website, and the greatest number of "Jedi's" are students. And most come from the UK. And there is an order not that far away from where I live back in Wales. Well, it's a couple of hours, but it's scary!

My favorite part about the website is the typos.

Based on what is in the books, it would make more sense then Scientology.
