Given a choice between following one of the Chosen, and following the Amyrlin, I would say her loyalties would lie with the latter, now.

there's too much that we haven't seen in this book, and to be honest you've just nailed one of three things that I hope to see in AMOL:

 

1. a FULL circle

2. 13 and a Myrdrall turning someone to the DO

3. someone getting burned out

 

These things still seem to be "the things of Legend." Great theory. While it would be terribly unfortunate, in hindsight you could say that it was foreshadowed with Egwene warning her a couple of times on the dangers of pushing herself too far. She is certainly at risk because of how eager she is.

Well, we know that at least fifty men have burned themselves out in the Black Tower. And irreguardless of the fact that Rand did it too them, the description of what happened to Irgain, Sashelle and Ronaile is much closer to being burnt out, and Lanfear and Moiraine were almost certainly burnt out.

 

As for a circle, did you mean one of seventy-two? I imagine we'll see it soon at Tar Valon, certainly the build up for that is suggested. We have seen a circle of thirteen in tPoD.

I'd like to see a turning and a burning out personally.

Well, there was the rest of my comments. Irgain, Shashelle, Ronaile. Moiraine and Lanfear.... All first hand....

As for turning, I really wanted to come up with a theory that rand would be turned by the 13 AS with the Borderland army, and that Alivias "helping him to die" would be the way to restore that.

 

Sadly, no matter how I turned it, it came out with more holes than a Swuiss cheese... :(
