Arrested Development coming to Big Screen?

Sadly a show I discovered after it was canceled.  I miss it....

Jason Bateman tells E! Online that Mitch Hurwitz and Ron Howard, the creative minds behind the acclaimed but cancelled comedy "Arrested Development" are planning a film version.

Bateman says that he and the other actors who played the Bluth family have received calls asking if they would be willing to shoot a movie.

"I can confirm that a round of sniffing has started. Any talk is targeting a poststrike situation, of course. I think, as always, that it's a question of whether the people with the money are willing to give our leader, Mitch Hurwitz, what he deserves for his participation. And I can speak for the cast when I say our fingers are crossed" says Bateman.

Other cast members were contacted and "everyone seems to be very much on board and excited by the prospect" says the sit.

I highly recommend the series.  Let me know when you can do a proper chicken dance.

It is one of the few comedies that I laugh at almost every episode.

I need to watch this. I think it's the kind of comedy I would really like, but I've somehow never actually watched it...  :-\

This is probably one of the funniest shows I've ever seen, so this movie had better happen. I've been getting let down by the film industry a lot lately, but this would definitely cheer me up!

I would die of happiness if this happened. I love this show.

And Caddy, you would love it too.
