First picture just released...

Looks like a Weapon X cage, IMO.

Also looks like Hugh spent a few extra hours in the gym...

Yes on both accounts.  I have envy now.

I heard a few rumors that the movie was being made, but not much more than that.  Does anyone know if its mostly about the adamantium graft or if it follows his pre-weapon x history?

From what little I have heard, the movie will focus on his pre-Weapon X history, so depending on whether or not they are planning a sequel I'd imagine the Weapon X programme coming somewhere in the middle or as the finale.

First Look at X-Men Origins: Wolverine!

USA Today has published this first look at Hugh Jackman as Logan in X-Men Origins: Wolverine! And some quotes...

The film will trace Wolverine's past as he discovers the world of mutants and, ultimately, the ominous Weapon X program, which turns people into living weapons.

Jackman is tight-lipped on plot details, though he says the film will hardly be a one-mutant story.

Wolverine's nemesis Sabretooth "is going to play a big part in it. And there will be a good bit of cameos" of new and familiar mutants, he says. "But you can't give too much away, because fans are pretty hard-core. Their expectations go up a level every time you come out with a new film."

Directed by Gavin Hood and co-starring Liev Schreiber, X-Men Origins: Wolverine hits theaters on May 1, 2009.

Ditto. (With maj's post, not with tenshins man-envy ;) )

I've been waiting for this, everyone watched X-men for only 2 reasons.

1) Wolverine.

2) Halley Berry, or that Other hot chick. ;)

Definately the other hot chick. IMO Halley Berry is nothing special.

*goes to the gym*

What?

I wonder if they will pursue the 4 horsemen of apocalypse storyarc, if I remember wolverine was supposed to be War, but its a little fuzzy.

The other hot chick being Stamos/Mystique?  ;D I was partial to the woman who played Jean Grey too.

So was I, until I saw her body in Nip/tuck. It's kinda weird. But I think her face is quite attractive.

The scene in X3 where she wraps her legs around Wolverine...Holy crap, they never ends! I would certainly not mind some snuggling with that mutant ;D

Halle berry on the other hand, there is something about her face that just makes me go Bleh.

I don't watch nip/tuck, so no worries there.  Plus isn't the face what really counts? ;) :P

Of course. I've always dreamed of being loved for my face, and not, you know, my mind... or personality... or whatever.  ;)

Or your HUUUUGE...tracts of land!

Sorry, Cads. But you know we only love you for your jugs. And your legs. And because you make us all brownies.

Mmmmmmmmm...special brownies.

Wow....that thread went downhill faster than a ski jumper...lol.

Okay I knew about the legs (very nice), but why have I not seen these jugs.....or brownies?  >:(
