book 3 will be out in sept. (brisingr) what does everyone think of the first two. i thought they where better good. not as good as RJ's work but not bad for a teen on his first books

I thought they were great! for a teen and young adult to be writting at his level is amazing to me. I can't wait for the third. *nods*

sorry in advance if I seem heated but I feel pretty strong about the inheritance trilogy.  I think it is a lame rip off of Tolkien and Star Wars and the only talent it demonstrates in Christopher Paolini is his ability to copy other works and the ability to use a thesarus to find the biggest overblown word to describe everything.  I am disgusted with the inheritance trilogy.

Personally, I don't much like it, because it just rang too strongly of other works. However, I do have to applaud the kid, and respect him for doing as well as he did, and getting published so young. I'm sure his later series will be far better than his first.

I thought the first book was incredibly average, but I thought the second book was a waste of paper.
