[GAMES] A Game of Thrones: The PC RTS? From the makers of Dawn of War?

Apparently, Relic are thinking about it. The rights haven't been bought but Josh Mosqueira - lead developer of Company of Heroes, the most critically-acclaimed RTS in history - has been coming up with ideas.

Creative Assembly would probably be a better fit, but they don't do licensed products. Relic - who also created The Homeworld Trilogy and the Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War series - are certainly the next best company to do it. Whether this turns into an forward-moving project or was simply one guy thinking out loud remains to be seen, but a cool prospect anyway.

Off Topic: Starcraft is the most critically-acclaimed RTS in history and it's also the best.

;D

bull crap. AOE was better.  its up there but not the best

I've played both Starcraft and AoE (I and II), and AoE II owns them all. When playing multiplayer games with friends over a network (and/or with the computer), I like them the games to last a good time. AoE II allowed that to happen; Starcraft didn't. And Teutonic Knights from AoE II were the best!

pfffft Dune 2000 is and always shall be king.  *drinks more lead based paint*

Right. Well my copy of Command and Conquer for the PS1 disagrees.

You fail right there for playing a RTS on a console.
