Jagg Walked out into the practice yards early in the morning he was to practice his sword forms today on his mentors orders. Jagg found a small area that would be good for his practicing.

Jagg Pulled his claymore out off his sheath across his back. He focused his mind and set to work on his sword forms.

Jagg started off by going through the movements. Slashing then pulling up to a parry then going out into a thrust. Jagg then began the advance and retreat. After Jagg had done this a few times He then started on his sword forms.

He sheathed his sword and went into Leopard in a Tree then did Unfolding the Fan and his sword unseathed. He then went into Lion on a Hill he then executed the Arch of the Moon and then went into Parting the Silk. Jagg went back into a defense postion and Started with more forms.

Jagg went into The Kingfisher Takes a Silverback. He pivoted and did the Arch of The Moon again. Jagg began the Heron Wading in the Rushes. Jagg did every beginner sword form and restarted. He was anxious to get on with intermediet sword froms, but Corwin said he wasn't ready yet.

Jagg practiced and continued practicing over and over. When the task became dull Jagg would focus his mind on The Spring. Jagg didn't want to get his mentor angry so followed his orders. Lets hope ntohing keeps me from this today. Jagg thought.

Standing in the middle of the grove, Christine threw the sword at the ground, furious at herself. What was wrong with herself? Why wasnt she able to do anything right? Light, she felt like a child... honestly, only a month with no practice, and she was practically a trainee again. Did she plan on getting sick? No, of course not. And there was no way she would go to a yellow, asking for help. They were always telling her that she was a foolish girl, and often told her to stop drinking so much and to stop sleeping around. Honestly, if she wanted their help, she would ask. Of course, she had wanted their help and she hadnt asked... thank goodness no one had noticed she had gone missing for a while.

Light, she needed some medicine... bad. She had tried to trick a yellow in town, but to no avail was she given any medicine. She thought that she was better, but her limbs ached. At first, the idea had been that perhaps, since she hadnt practiced in a while, her body was just out of shape, but she knew this had to do with being sick. Obviously, sneezing and coughing nonstop for a month had done a piece of work on her body. Well, after all this fight and hassle, there was no way in the world that she would just roll over and play dead for some smug yellow sister. She would get that medicine some how... She just needed someone to get the medicine for her.

Picking her sword back up, Christine groaned as her back ached. Aran would get the medicine for her... he was usually pretty nice these days, since they were no longer teacher and student. She was an Aes Sedai, and he was a Tower Guard. They were friends, but would he actually help her in this... either he would help her, or else he would laugh at her. But this was something she was willing to risk.

Running from the grove, she almost ran into a fool boy that was swinging a sword around. His stance was atrocious, and his mentor should be embaressed... no wonder the boy was out there alone; if she was his mentor, she would be embaressed... she had to save him from embarrassment. He seemed to still be in his own world, and she flicked out her sword easily, stepping in with him, taking his light swing with the counter and twisting her arm around, easily doing an arc and making his blade almost useless to him. Her back creaked as she moved, and only by her cool Aes Sedai face did she suppress a wince. "Hello there, think you can help a lady out?"

Jagg was still not great with his blade and this was why he was pracicing. Jagg was in his own world until a lady had sdenly countered his sword form and made Jaggs blade useless.

"Hello there, think you can help a lady out?" the Lady asked him.

Jagg Looked up at the lady and saw her face. She had to be an Aes Sedai, the cool expression on her face showed it. She was in some sort of pain. The question went through his head, would he help her or follow his mentors orders. The Aes Sedai's punisment for not helping her would be worse than what his mentor would give him.

" I will help you m'lady, what do you require?" Jagg asked.Jagg was to nervous to give a name to the lady.

Jagg sheathed his sword and bowed to the lady. Jagg knew his mentor would be mad at the fact he wasn't doing his orders, but the Aes Sedai would not take a "no" lightly. Better to play it safe for the moment.

Jagg straightend up agein and kept his gaze dwon from the aes sedais face.

"Good, then come along." She started walking to town, and made sure he kept up. "I am going to need your help. There is an apothecary in town, and I need you to ask her for some medicine for colds, sneezing, coughing, and anything like that."

He looked about to speak, and more than likely ask why she didnt just go to a yellow, and she raised her hand to silence him. "I have my reasons for what I do, so just leave it at that. You must do this for me, because i dont know what ill do if this wont work."

They walked for a while, and she noticed the uncomfortable silence of the trainee. "What's your name, and who is your mentor?"

Jagg Wlaked behind the Aes Sedai and adventully cought up next to her. He was nervous being this close to one, but he didn't show it.

"I am going to need your help. There is an apothecary in town, and I need you to ask her for some medicine for colds, sneezing, coughing, and anything like that." The Aes Sedia said to him.

Jagg was about to ask her why she didn't go to a healer. She silenced him with a hand. She said she had her own reasons. Wow these Aes Sedai were very strange, he thought.

Jagg nodded so she knew he would do it. He was nerovuse still about what his mentor would do to him now that he had disobayed his orders.

"What's your name, and who is your mentor?" the Aes Sedai ased unexpectedly breaking the silence.

"Umm, My name is Jagg and my mentor is Corwin. I hope he doesn't get mad at me for helping you out to day Aes Sedai." Jagg responded nervously.

Jagg was shy and tended to be nervous with any person. Some times Aes Sedai made his nervousness worse.

  • 2 weeks later...

He spoke up, stumbling over his words. He seemed scared to talk to an Aes Sedai, or perhaps he was just shy. "Umm, My name is Jagg and my mentor is Corwin. I hope he doesn't get mad at me for helping you out to day Aes Sedai." No matter how he felt about her, he was most certainly nervous. Corwin? Corwin was his mentor? She could still remember the day she had awoken with him in his rooms... perhaps he still remembered her fondly on occasion, because she knew that Sirayn did not hold that day in favor.

Smiling, she walked closer to him, so that she could keep her cough-worn throat from having to speak up. “Corwin is a friend of mine from the past, and I am more than certain that if I speak to him, you shall be excused from any punishment. And remember, you are supposed to serve Aes Sedai, and our rule is higher than that of even your mentor.â€

He nodded, and she saw the shop she needed. “Well, Jagg, this is where I need your help. As for a syrup or vial of antidote that will take away a very horrid cold. Coughing, yes. Sneezing, yes. Headache, yes. Now, go boy!†She pushed him toward the Apothecary, and walked into a nearby shop, watching him through the windows.
