Yeah it all depends on how it is done... anyone remember D&D movie?

Yeah, but it's Legend doing this, the people that made Batman Begins and the new Superman. They also seem to have a very respectful attitude towards the project.

 

It might be totally awesome. It might be a major disaster as well, but I'm pretty sure it won't be as bad as D&D, that is simply not possible.

I just can't motivate myself to be excited about another video game made into a movie. So many have flopped (including most of those that were "hyped" as great beforehand) that I've lost (most) interest in the whole genre. It's difficult to take an interactive system and make it completely plot based. It can be done, but with difficulty. Plus, most games have enough FMVs to make up nearly as much time as a movie plays!
