Sha'rah

I would say that Mordin is "playing" against the creator, with the game representing the eternal struggle of dark v light. Just my 2 cents....

Fisher? Playing? Sorry, could you clarify? Thanks!

It's from the prologue of The Path of Daggers.

The Game Sha'rah is a personal metaphor that Moridin seems to use as his struggle for supremecy.  At least, that's how I read it.  It just seems to make Rand into nothing but a pawn for both sides.

I've always been interested by this game too. Especially that the Game is called Sha'ra and there is a place called Shara, coincidence?

My thoughts are that the Fisher is Rand' body, the fact that the Fisher switches sides indicates, to me anyways, that Rand and Moridin will switch bodies, maybe numerous times. It makes sense anyways, I can't remember exactly and my books are packed away, but I think that he says on one side the Fisher has good offense, weak defense, and can move quickly. While for the other side he has good defense, weak offense, and is slow. I think these differences are indicative of Rand's power in his body and Moridin's power in Rand's body. The TP is geared toward destruction and chaos, offense in other words, and being in Rands body he could move quickly without fear from those fighting for the Light. The OP is geared towards creation and balance, defense in other words, and Rand being in his own body would not be jumping around quickly as during TG he would need to reinforce his position before gaining groud, and I think his days of jumping around without telling people or bringing others are over, especially with Cadsuane, I don't think she'd put up with it and Rand doesn't want to lose her. But those are just my speculations.
