We need IRC back

I miss the days of Shayol Ghul in IRC. I have nobody to slap with a trout anymore. :(

Furthermore, I am now a semi-skilled bot-maker, but I have only one channel to inflict them on (that channel, by the way, shall remain a closely guarded secret for now...).

I hope you'll all join me on irc.rizon.net on channel #sg.

If you don't, I'll gouge your eyeballs out.

With a trout.

Sure you can! Just like you can walk into any computer store and buy the Internet on a floppy disk.

No foolin'! Here's one I got the other day:

I kid you not...

The day before yesterday, I was cleaning old computer equipment, parts, software, components, and outright junk out of our main office at work in preparation for the big office move coming up at the end of the month, and one of the things we ended up donating to Good Will was a computer that was so old... it had a 5.25" floppy drive in it.

Man, that brought back memories. Mainly bad ones, of disks with bad sectors and minute-long load times.

It reminded me of a picture someone linked around the Internet earlier:
