I would like to know if we've an official count of remaining and why Mat's medallion hurts them and any other info, I can only remember very limited things on them like I think there was only 7 and some other stuff and Samiel bragging to other Forsaken he found one in a time capsle thing... No, only 6 were ever made, three appearing male and three appearing female.

only 6 days passed between Herid Fel's murder at the hands of a Gholam in Cairhien and the fight between Mat and a Gholam in the Rahad, seeming to indicate that there are in fact two still living and "in play" as it were. 

 

However, since it was in fact Sammael who sent the Gholam to Ebou Dar and he has on several occasions been known to transport Shadowspawn via the Ways, it is entirely possible that there is only one alive and available for assassination.
