Floating... we will become fast friends.  Like I have mentioned every time Transformers comes up... this was my biggest disappointment in 2007. Sweeney Todd... while not one of my favorites from 2007 would beat this any day.

That gives a tally of 8-2 in favor of Sweeney Todd and it moves on to Round 2 with Bourne.

Next up...

Hot Fuzz

I hope so Emperor, I mean it's your fault I'm here, with all that recruiting you did.  ;D

Anyway.  I haven't seen Hot Fuzz either, didn't look like a movie I would want to.  So,

Knocked Up

Hot Fuzz was actually funny and did not rely on toilet humor to see it through.  There were some good scenes in Knocked Up but overall Hott Fuzz is a much better movie.

Knocked Up made me in love with Seth Rogan, and I love nearly all of Apertow's movies.

Hot Fuzz was only alright for me.

While Hot Fuzz did not quite live up to the hype, it certainly brought a decent bit of amusement.

Knocked Up on the other hand seems like a movie I really do not want to see. For several reasons.

Knocked Up was a pretty funny movie.  Seth Rogan is putting out some funny stuff lately.  Hot Fuzz was alright but a little bit of a dissapointment for me.  I was expecting a lot more from them.

Dammit, how did I miss 2 rounds of this?

Anyways, knocked up was funny, but Hot Fuzz wins as probably my favourite movie all year last year.

Wow our closest battle yet.  Barm broke the tie and Hot Fuzz wins 5-4.

Ummm... what next... hmmm...  How about two Oscar contendars....

Atonement

Juno

This is actually tougher for me than I original thought.  I liked both of these movies for different reasons.  So it comes down to which movie I would watch again first... and that would be Juno.  I doubt I will ever watch Atonement again.

Juno partially cause I've not seen attonement, partially cause I really liked Juno, and partially to spite Maj and his horrible taste in movies.

I hated the hack job he did with Pride and Prejudice, so I'll have to go with Juno. I refuse to give Atonement a chance on general principle.

Alrighty then... looks like Juno takes this down and moves on.

No Country For Old Men

3:10 to Yuma

Ok, I've seen both of these.

3:10 to Yuma was pretty damned good, and so was No Country for Old Men.

I think I'll have to go with No Country For Old Men, because unlike 3:10 to Yuma, No Country, had me asking questions for hours if not days after I saw it, where as 3:10 to Yuma, they answered any questions you had...

I was not very impressed by No Country..., but I have to vote for it since I have not seen that Yuma movie yet (and not really planning to in the near future).
