Re: Stairway to Heaven (Sharina's intro in the CotL)

It was funny to hear the young girl call this obviously-superior woman “sir,” but it bespoke a lot about her experience: none whatsoever.  However, this Child of the Light already posed an issue.  Her name alone meant that she was against the shadows from where the Ninja struck.  She had to go.

Sneaking up behind the woman was simple, as was the process of drawing his sword and running it through her heart from behind, the blade appearing from the other side under her left breast.  The woman twitched once, then was still.  Withdrawing the blade, the Ninja let the body fall to the floor, looking up to see the young girl staring in wide-eyed fear.

The Ninja threw a star, nodding in professional satisfaction as it embedded itself in the girl’s neck.  He watched long enough to see her fall to the floor, bleeding her life away through the wound, then fled again.  There was more work to be done.
