Does anyone think the Hunters for the Horn will play any part in the last book. So far they have done nothing but cause a few problems for a few rulers

Were it Goodkind or Martin, then we'd see a Hunters Legion under Birgittes' command; with Pratchett it would've turned into a spec-ops unit, sending hunters over enemy lines to bore DFs and Trollocs to death with their tales of glory.  RJ/BS will just forget about what, a thousand hunters, scattered around Randland.

 

Seriously now, when any hunter(s) might come handy at this stage, plotwise? Only if Verin is late getting the Horn out of the WT before the Seanchean attack; or something happens to her on her return trip with the Horn - there is the consensus that she's gone to WT to pick it, isn't it?

 

 

Isnt much of 'cha'faile' made up of former hunters for the horn?

No, Cha’Faile was mostly young Cairhien nobles (and some Tarien) wanting to emulate the Aiel, but with not enough power to tell their parents to stick it. So Berelain protected them, and Faile assimilated them
