Ok well im new obviously. Just started reading book 8 and so far have been totally caught up in the adventure. WOT is now my most favourite book series, poor LotR. So anyways if anyone wants to chat about WOT gimme a holla. Maybe i should start the ball rolling, um, really looking forward to Cyndane appearing, Lanfear was definately my favourite and i cant wait to see wot plans the evil hussey will devise next. Anyones thoughts on the Forsaken? wot is everyones Fav? Really curious to see who is gonna make it to the end, but dont tell me if u have read past book 8, ive already ruined a few key points by visiting the forums >.<

Fave Forsaken... Hmm, i don't know. I kind of like Moghedien's MO, it's really similar to how a character of mine on another RP fights (they also share the same nickname, apparently :P). Also, Ishi scored a couple of points with his psychological warfare against Rand, Mat and Perrin. For some reason, he struck me more as a tragic villain type, though i've read more or less until the appearance of Asan'gar and Osan'gar myself.

 

Either way, don't forget to join a Division or two and get some roleplaying going! ^_^

Welcome Ruarc! LOL...I like some of the forsaken...but them i'm a little evil my self.LOL it will be interesting to see what they do.

 

Please poke around the forums and see where you like to be. The orgs are fun..i'd suggest the Aiel and White Tower!

Hey thanks for getting back to me :) seems there is a lil evil in all of us. lol. anyways how and where do i go to join a division and an org. pretty new to this all so im still a lil lost. Finally read up to where Moggie introduces Cyndane to Graendal. Finally! Shes back in action. Will be interesting to see wot plans the Nae' blis has for the crew. Cant wait to finish TPOD and get stuck into WH!

When you scroll down you'll see the ORG and DIV boards. Just click on one you think you'll like and one of the first posts you see will be a sticky for newcomers. Read that and it will tell you how to join that board (ORG or DIV). Just remember that each ORG and DIV is different and has it's own rules/guidelines for joining so you will have to read each boards sticky to see how to join.

 

Hope that rather long explaination helps. I got confused on the difference between ORG and DIV when I first got here. The ORG's are communities and the DIV's are more RP driven. I think I'll let some one else explain that better.

Also of note that when it comes to roleplaying, the Freelanders count as the 'everything else' category. They have gleemen, merchants, Ogier, noble Houses, Seanchan and recently the Aiel as well -- they're the largest in terms of landmass :P
