Hi guys,

 

Several times we've mentioned that the artwork on the Galleries by Lord_of_Chaos_Jr is really, really good.

 

Well, he's met his allowance for uploads on the Dragonmount.com galleries, so has had to stop uploading. However, if you go look at seamassketches.blogspot.com and scroll down until you find them, he's continued to upload there.

 

There's everything from our gallery, plus Logain and Lanfear.

 

Turns out, Eva Longoria IS Lanfear!

 

Take a look, they're great works of art.

His Lanfear is pretty good. I'm not so much a fan of how hard he made her face, but many others think she's perfect.

I think his artwork is amazing, though IMO, Lanfear, Rand and Mat do not look anything like what I've always pictured them to look like. I'm not saying I could do anything near as good as he though. My Rand would be a stick man with a slash of red on his head for hair.

I'm in love with his Logain lol.

 

Lanfear isn't quite how I imagined her but seeing as she's the most beautiful woman anyone's ever seen I don't think it's possible to depict her perfectly. Still one of the better attempts at her.

His stuff is pretty good but Mazrim Taim looks a little too much like Cuzco.  heh heh heh

HAhaha, you hit that one right on the head. Sticking with the same theme, the old hag with the potions would fit Cadsuane, but who would Kronk be? Perrin? Picture Perrin sneaking into the Whitecloak camp while humming his own theme song, like Kronk.

His Uno is brilliant.

Lanfear isnt quite what i'd pictured either, nor is Sammael, Mat, Perrin or Rand but the rest are quite good. Asmodean is spot on, as is Min and Moiraine.

 

I think with some of them - Rand, Mat, Perrin and Lanfear - we have such personal ideas of what they look like that no-one else will ever capture them perfectly.

 

Heath Ledger would have been a perfect Logain.

While the pictures are very well made, extremely few looks even remotely close to how I picture the characters. Lanfear and Graendal among the most off.
