I was wondering if RJ ever addessed the change made between books 4 and 5. At the end of book 4 when Rand and Asmo went back to Alcardal, Avendesora was completly fine except one broken branch. But in book 5, chapter 2 it says the tree was burnt with blackened bark but alive. So when did this revision happen as was a revised version of book 4 ever put out?

I'm pretty sure that like the paperback edition of TSR has the the tree burning. He did go back and change it though, cause I know I've read an edition where Avendesora burns.
