Not sure how many of you have read this series.  I actually picked up the first book this weekend after I keep hearing the buzz behihd the movie. Anyway all I know is it is about vampires and that was enough to get me interested. 

Interesting. Looks cool. I'll have to go check out the books.

Actually I just picked up the second book and found the first book pretty well written.  It did feel very young adult like but that is it's genre so I shouldn't be that suprised.  It definetly feels like the movie will be geared toward a younger audience as well.
