When Perrin was in the Dream of the Inn with Ishamael and it flashes to Lanfear, Perrin feels digging at the back of his mind.  I was wondering is this him fighting off compulsion or him being an idiot about the wolves?

    I think alot of it would be the wolves. Lanfear, is too subtle to use compulsion. She has her beauty and wit, and knows a way to get to a person. I think the wolves, still being new to Perrin, is what was bugging him.

I would guess that if someone is infiltrating Perrin's mind at that point they would be able to make him see anything they wanted to, so the fact that he feels the digging at the time he sees Lanfear could mean that someone wants him to think Lanfear has something to do with it.

I don't remember that... but my best bet would be that it was just the wolves, since nothing really significant came from the event.
